Our discussion will walk us through the design and implementation of Role Based Access Control and an associated automated provisioning capability. We will talk about the issues that were faced and the ongoing management of the solution.

Speaker:
Jim Huddleston is a Senior Information Security Management professional with over 17 years of experience in both consulting and private industry. His areas of expertise are the management of Information Security, Security Architecture, Security Consulting, Database Administration, LAN Administration, Electronic Messaging, and Networking. Jim's background includes the building and management of security organizations and programs and the creation of extensive security policies and standards for major corporations. He has managed and participated in numerous external, internal and regulatory security audits and assessments, numerous risk assessments, managed regulatory compliance (CA Privacy- SB 1386, HIPPA, Sarbanes-Oxley), designed Information Security organizations, managed implementation of role based access control and provisioning capabilities, developed new security consulting organizations, and made security presentations to industry organizations including ISSA, HTCIA, NCMA, BCBS and IIA. Jim has worked with numerous companies in the financial, insurance, Healthcare, advertising, manufacturing, and retail industries on their security and risk programs.
